KAMPALA, May 19 (Xinhua) -- With their reign as regional champions being tested, Kampala A got the stops needed to thump favorites Tanzania's Mwanza 88-66 and win their second consecutive game on Thursday in the East and Central Africa Inter-Cities Basketball Championships.

Kampala A overcame a shaky start in the first quarter in which they went down 19-21, pounced on the Mwanza team in the second to lead 45-39 at the half before running wild in the second half at Lugogo Indoor stadium.
