China should use "Pinyin" instead of English to in place names:

BEIJING, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- At a national campaign to unify
China's place name signs, officials said all the signs that need
foreign versions should be written in "Pinyin," the phonetic symbols
for Chinese, instead of English.
"Using Pinyin is not only written in the 'Regulations on the
Management of Geographical Names' issued by the State Council, or the
Chinese central government, but was approved by the United Nations
