Some shadows are longer than others. The Wallflowers, led by
singer-songwriter Jakob Dylan, use pop hooks and Memphis soul riffs
to shed new light in the imposing aura of Dylan's dad, Bob.
The band presented a passionate two-hour set Tuesday night before
a sellout crowd at the House of Blues. The Wallflowers are no
overnight sensation. They have built their audience since 1992, when
Dylan and wild keyboardist Rami Jaffee came together in the Kibbitz
