Burns' Jones sweeps throwing events at the Glenrock Relays
|
CHEYENNE (WTE) - Burns High junior Noelle Jones won the discus and
shot put at the Glenrock Relays on Saturday.
She spun the discus 90 feet, 7 inches and tossed the shot 34-4.
Teammates Sondra Bennett and Priscilla St. John were second in the
disc and shot, respectively.
The Lady Broncs also won the 3x133 weightman's relay and took
second in the 4x200. They were third in the 4x400 and distance
medley.
Senior Jose Stradley was second in the boys discus for Burns, with
a 114-1 throw. He also placed sixth in the shot at 34-7.
Joe Sanchez was second in the triple jump at 36-3.
