Frederick V. Huffmire, 81, of Cheyenne died Oct. 10 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Huffmire was born July 30, 1925, in Cheyenne and had lived here all of his life.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a staff sergeant during World War II.

Mr. Huffmire was a machinist for the Union Pacific Railroad, retiring in the mid 1980s. He also managed several liquor stores in the Cheyenne area and was a member of Zion Congre...
