BILL WOULD CAPTURE MORE WATER FOR CHEYENNE

CHEYENNE -- After more than a year of effort, a bill to secure
Cheyenne's water supply is on its way to the U.S. House of
Representatives.
The U.S. Senate passed a bill to assure Cheyenne's right to store
water in Wyoming's Kendrick Project on Wednesday. Bill sponsor Sen.
Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., started working on the legislation more than a
year ago at the request of the city of Cheyenne.
"Cheyenne needs water security," Coy Knobel, Enzi's press
secretary, said Friday.
