Monks bring slice of Tibet to Chicago Cultural Center

In hindsight, Jennifer Harris says she can understand why there
was a lot of neck-craning recently at the Clybourn Avenue Costco.
After all, it's not every day you see eight Tibetan monks
outfitted in traditional garb perusing a bulk-foods meat counter.
Harris is hosting the group while they are in town as part of a
Sacred Art tour, which stops at the Chicago Cultural Center Wednesday
through June 27. She also is coordinating the U.S. portion of the
