From behind the considerable shadow cast by big sister Jessica
Simpson's hit reality TV show, multimillion-selling recording career
and bordering-on-overmarketed ditzy persona steps a sibling who does
little to distinguish herself.
It's not that Ashlee doesn't distinguish herself from Jessica,
mind you. The whole "she does pop" and "Ashlee does rock" is as clear
as their starkly different hair colors.
What's challenging is separating Ashlee from Avril Lavigne,
newcomer Katy Rose or any other moody teenager actually paid to
complain over ...
