Human condition isn't always garbage in, garbage out

Garbage in, garbage out.

Believing is seeing.

What I eat, I wear.

The first time I heard the clich "garbage in, garbage out" was in reference to a computer, the idea being that it could only produce information as good as the information it was fed.

What the computer lacked, the statement implied, was intuition. That still remains the barrier to true artificial intelligence today, leaving unanswered the question, "Where does intuition come from?"

What I did not realize at the time is that the human intellect is exactly the same as any computer.
