Charles Mee's 'The Bacchae' is a mishmash of lust and sorrow

Few of today's popular playwrights are as fascinating in their
methodology as Charles Mee. A firm believer that no play is original,
Mee's online project allows anyone to use portions of his plays for
their own projects, just as he borrows liberally from classic Greek
to modern gossip magazine, and everything in between.
Companies need permission only when producing one of his plays in
its entirety, which the City Garage is doing three times this season.
The plays selected are Mee's take on Greek tragedies, each dealing,
in part, with war.
