I just don't have the energy to keeping riding this heat wave

Forget everything I ever said about my yearning for the tropical
sauna of the Deep South.
As it did for many, the power went out the other night in our
house.
While I am not one to complain ... OK, so I complain all the time,
who am I kidding? In fact, I come from a long line of complainers who
taught me that complaining usually solves nothing.
This is especially true when calling power companies that, one,
already know that your stupid power is out, two, are actually trying
to turn your power back on and, three, are running a power grid on
transformers installed during the Battle of Hastings.
