San Pedro High School boys win basketball title

The San Pedro boys basketball team took home its second
championship in 101 years of the sport at the school March 4.
The California Interscholastic Federation Los Angeles City
Invitational title came when the Pirates defeated Cleveland 54-49 in
the game played at the Los Angeles Sports Arena.
The Los Angeles City Section playoffs are composed of the top 16
teams. The invitational playoff is made up of 16 teams.
"I've been to seven title games now and this was the most special
