Chinese chicken salad may be Chinese in origin after all
Chinese chicken salad always seemed like a bastardized American
food to me, an insult to the high art of Chinese cuisine. Ordering it
at a restaurant seems culturally insensitive,even though it can be so
tempting on a sunny afternoon witha big glass of iced tea.
