New Redondo parking meters are designed to thwart fraud, theft
When Mike Magdaleno strolled down the Esplanade duringhis lunch
break, he would spy motorists stealing nickels, dimes and quarters
while keeping families from enjoying an afternoon on the Redondo
Beach sand.
