Soaring cost of milk and raw materials prompts Dairy Crest to
warn City
One of the country's biggest cheese and dairy producers yesterday
warned its prices will have to go up as it struggles to cope with
soaring costs of raw materials.
Dairy Crest, which has plants in Frome, Chard, Severnside and
Cornwall, said the price of its cheese, butter and drinks will have
to increase to offset the soaring cost of milk and other products.
