A fan of sea scenes? Neptune's your man

Neptune's kingdom is bought to life on a 19th century fan.

Colourful scenes from under the sea are painted on one side of the fan, with coastal scenes on the other.

The sea theme is completed with mother-of-pearl sticks. The fan comes up for auction with Simon Chorley Art & Antiques on April 10 with an estimate of pounds250-pounds300.

Polo lovers are expected to raise the stakes over a watercolour drawing by Edward Seago.
