Finance Minister Michael Cullen says his tax cuts will be smaller
than National leader John Key's proposals.
In an apparent bid to spike any complaints by the public over the
size of their tax cuts, Cullen has admitted the cuts he plans to
unveil in his May Budget will be smaller than those planned by
National.
However, he said that National would not be able to outspend the
Government on tax cuts without cutting spending on social services.
