Collectors of antiques have favorite areas of interest and
certain items that they look for in shops, at auction or at shows.
But antique collecting runs in fads, and so the things we started
collecting as novice antiquers probably have changed for us over the
years. Often the trendy, popular items will have an inflated price
that's higher than the true value.
