Huddersfield Giants coach Jon Sharp slammed the performance of referee Phil Bentham, after his side's agonising home defeat by Wigan.

The Giants looked to have secured a deserved victory when Kevin Brown's 74th-minute drop goal put them 19-8 ahead. But late tries from Andy Coley and George Carmont, and a match-winning conversion from Pat Richards sunk Huddersfield, whose misery was complete when prop Darrell Griffin was sent off for dissent following the final whistle.
