Buccaneer restoration team reveals tribute markings
|
The team behind the restoration of the Blackburn Buccaneer
aircraft have unveiled a series of commemorative markings.
The aviation experts from the Newark Air Museum revealed the
new motifs for the 50th anniversary of the Cold War bomber they are
in the process of restoring.
It is 50 years since the aircraft went into service and 20 years
since the museum, based at Winthorpe, south-west of Lincoln, took
hold of its example - Blackburn Buccaneer S1 XN964.
