EXMOUTH'S title challenge was dented by a first league defeat of
the season at Honiton.
The Cockles had won the previous meeting between the two sides
17-10 but on their own patch they found Honiton a well organised
outfit.
A cheeky short ball at the lineout caught Exmouth napping on 10
minutes and Honiton took the lead. Exmouth then pressured the
Honiton line and an intelligent offload by Tim Green put Ian
Perkins in for his first try in only his second game.
