Brass band kids blow festival audience away
|
THESE youngsters are just some of the talented musicians hitting
the right notes at the Glasgow Music Festival this week.
The brass instrument players, from Garnock Academy in Kilbirnie,
North Ayrshire, took to stage at Woodside Hall.
Around 7000 people, mostly schoolchildren from Glasgow, are
taking part in the music, art, drama and spoken word event, which
was first held in 1911.
Competition categories include singing, poetry, dance, music and
even newsreading.
