'It was awesome' ; BC, Northeastern players soak up Red Sox mystique in exhibition games

The Boston Red Sox put a hurtin' on the Boston College and
Northeastern baseball teams Thursday, winning a pair of split squad
games by a combined 39-0. But the final score hardly mattered for
Marc Perdios.
Last summer, he was just another teenager, helping the Milton
American Legion Post 114 team to a third-place finish in the state
championships.
Yesterday, the freshman at BC hobnobbed with the likes of David
Ortiz, Josh Beckett, Jason Varitek, and a host of the supporting
