Torbay Hockey Club 1st XI's Premier Division Two status is hanging by a thread after an exciting but ultimately frustrating 4- 4 West & South Wales League draw with fellow strugglers Firebrands at Shiphay.

The result dropped Torbay into the bottom-two, and they must now win away to third-placed Robinsons next Saturday to have a realistic chance of staying up.

Saturday's match against Firebrands was great entertainment - if you were a neutral.

Both teams led at various times in a fast and furious match played in the right spirit.
