Daffodils dazzle at flower show

LIVERMORE -- Crawford Pratt of San Mateo County has only
participated in the Northern California Daffodil Society's Bay Area
show for three years, but he has grown daffodils his whole life,
including helping his grandmother when he was young.
Pratt was happy to enter several daffodils in the weekend-long
show at Alden Lane Nursery in Livermore. Hundreds of varieties of
daffodils sat neatly in rows on long tables in a hall at the
nursery, delighting noses with sweet and intense fragrances.
