Families swing into action for run-down park

Families are calling for work to begin on sprucing up their park.

Etruria Residents' Association says it was told six months ago that pounds50,000 was available for a facelift. The cash was given by Redrow Homes under a section 106 agreement, where payments are made in development areas to benefit the community.

But families say they hoped work would have started by now on improvements to the play area at Etruria Park.
