Organisers of Sunday's charity snooker tournament in Newton Abbot hope entrants will be 'cueing' up to take part.

Sunday sees the 14th annual opener handicap snooker competition take place at the Century Snooker Club in Market Street (opposite Ridgway's shoe shop).

The tournament raises money for the deaf-blind charity SENSE.

Sense's aims are to help those, mostly, young people who are both deaf and blind. In South Devon there are several residential homes dedicated to caring for these severely handicapped young people.
