Protect Pa. part of majestic trail

The Appalachian Trail - designated in 1968 as the first scenic
trail in the U.S. - runs for 2,000 miles between Maine and Georgia.
Much of the trail is wilderness, with an array of wildlife, terrain
and plant life.
Pennsylvania's 229-mile portion of the trail goes from the
Delaware Water Gap in northeastern Pennsylvania, along the eastern
rim of the Alleghenies (north of Reading and Allentown), crosses the
Cumberland Valley near Harrisburg, and then heads south to the
Maryland...
