An Inverness-shire teenager is hoping to enter the traditionally male-dominated field of gamekeeping, and in the process become only the second woman to complete a course in the subject at a Highland college.

Gillian Cooper, 18, of Millfield, Fort Augustus, was bitten by the sporting bug last year after spending a day at an estate close to her home.

Although she had only attended the clay pigeon shoot at Cullachy to help with the catering, she was so in awe of what she saw that she found herself participating.
