The victory by a beagle named Uno at the recent Westminster Kennel Club show has local beagle owners hopeful that this breed they love will again become America's favorite house dog.

Uno, a beagle from Illinois, was the first beagle ever to win Best in Show in the 100 years the Westminster Kennel Club has given the prize.
