Derry Borough seeks state assistance with plant mess
|
DERRY -- Borough Council is hoping to enlist the aid of state
officials in addressing a major eyesore in town: piles of bricks,
glass and other debris that remain following partial demolition of
the Porcelain Park multi-tenant industrial facility along West Third
Street.
At the suggestion of Terri Selembo, assistant to state Rep.
Joseph Petrarca, council agreed Monday to write to the state
Department of Environmental Protection, supporting the department's
