Bad weather hits attempts to repair stricken ship

Plans to move the stricken cargo ship MV Horncliff to a ship repair yard were postponed yesterday after severe weather made it impossible for the ship to berth safely.

MV Horncliff was scheduled to be moved three-quarters of a mile from its position off Falmouth to the A&P Falmouth's County Wharf repair yard yesterday afternoon, but it was postponed until today, when it is hoped the weather will improve.
