You knock down and kill your neighbour's cat while leaving for work one morning. The curtains are still closed at her house and nobody's seen you do it. Do you ring the doorbell and confess what you've done, or leave the scene with all haste?

MARY: How on earth could you leave the scene of an accident without seeking help? I hate the fact that some drivers draw a distinction between stopping if they hit a dog but not if they run over a cat.
