Calling it a "stupid thing to do," Yale University senior Said
Hyder Akbar was granted accelerated rehabilitation Thursday in
Superior Court for burning a flag mounted on the exterior of a
private home.
Charges against his two co-defendants, Yale freshmen Farhad
Anklesaria and Nikolaos Angelopoulos, were dismissed outright after
Akbar, 23, again took full responsibility for what his attorney,
William F. Dow III, described as a "foolish college prank."
