Patients leaving hospital are being given another chance to offer their verdict on the service they receive.

The governors of Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs Scunthorpe General Hospital, have set up a committee to improve standards, based on public opinion.

Questionnaires on cleanliness, pain relief, communication with staff, privacy and dignity have been drawn up.

Patients are being asked to answer the questions as they are discharged from the wards at Scunthorpe General and other hospitals in the region.
