For Jefferson Parish officials and bank executives, the
proliferation of new banking branches reinforces the West Bank's
emergence as a hotspot for growth and development.
"There's been a lot of commerce flowing through the West Bank of
Jefferson Parish and banks want to surf that wave," said Jefferson
Parish President Aaron Broussard. "Banks are going where they sense
optimism and growth."
