Top climbers to honour Hillary; SIR EDMUND HILLARY

STATE FUNERAL

A wreath-laying ceremony will commence after Hillary's casket arrives at Auckland Cathedral of Holy Trinity in Parnell at 10am on Monday.

After 11.30am members of the public will be able to file past the casket to pay respects.

*

On Tuesday Hillary's casket will be moved from the Cathedral to the adjacent St Mary's in Holy Trinity in Parnell at 8.45am.

*

The state funeral will begin at 11am and will be broadcast live on Television New Zealand and Radio New Zealand.

The funeral will conclude with an honour guard by the New Zealand Alpine Club and a haka by students ...
