Belle Vernon's Naylor helps boost team's confidence

Belle Vernon Area High School boys basketball coach John Dudzinski has no problem recalling the statement current Leopards senior John Naylor made last year.

And it had nothing to do with any verbal comments.

Naylor came off the bench against Mt. Pleasant Area High School to hit consecutive three-pointers from the corner and halt a Vikings' run, single-handedly keying a Belle Vernon win.

"John gave our team a confidence boost," Dudzinski remembers. "That was the defining game for him," and the type of performance Dudzinski knew Naylor was capable of having.
