HIDDEN VALLEY TOO STRONG FOR SPARTANS

Experience was the deciding factor Tuesday night in a hard- fought girls basketball game between Hidden Valley and Salem.

Despite starting three freshmen, Salem (2-10) played a tough game from whistle to whistle, forcing Hidden Valley to fight for every basket, even those late in the fourth quarter while nursing a 20 point lead.

Effort, however, can only take you so far.

In the end, the Titans (10-2) had too many weapons for the Spartans, and left town with a 65-50 victory...
