CELEBRATIONS - CALDWELL 50TH ANNIVERSARY
|
Mr. and Mrs. Fontaine Porter Caldwell celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary on January 12, 2008. Mrs. Caldwell is the
former Faye Christine Owen, daughter of the late Christopher Arthur
and Ava Huffman Owen and was born in Roanoke, Virginia. Mr.
Caldwell is the son of the late Fountain Pleasant and Myrtle Taylor
Caldwell and born in Fincastle where he has lived all his life.
Porter and Faye were high school sweethearts at Fincastle High
School and eloped to Chesterfield, South Carolina, where they were
