New School Board names members to represent PG on county, regional boards

PRINCE GEORGE -- Although the School Board has three new members,
some things did not change in its reorganization meeting Tuesday.
Keeping the status quo did not come easily, though.
New board member Roger E. Franklin cast the first dissenting vote
of the year after sharing reservations about re-electing incumbent
Kenneth W. Parr as chairman. As a majority of the School Board was
new, Franklin felt having Parr as chairman and incumbent Robert E.
