victory against a Selby side who had previously dealt the fourths
their biggest defeat of the season in the reverse fixture.
The first half was a very tight affair with Scunthorpe having the
edge on their opponents in the scrum, whilst Selby were better in
the line-out.
Scunthorpe had the pace in the backs but Selby were allowed to
ruck the ball more aggressively and were getting numbers to the
breakdowns faster than Scunthorpe.
Both sides battled to gain the upper-hand but the defences held
firm.
