Doctor helps redefine hope

He spent 22 years helping children come into the world, but now Dr. Glen Kamatsu cares for them as they leave.

He trained as a neonatologist, and was comfortable in a private practice he owned for the bulk of his career. Now Kamatsu heads the palliative care department at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance and serves as the lead physician for TrinityKids Care hospice.
