Oklahoma Educational Television Authority sets viewership record for centennial show

The Oklahoma Educational Television Authority broke the national
record for viewers with its broadcast of the state Centennial
Spectacular, said OETA Executive Director John McCarroll on Monday.
OETA held a live broadcast of the event, which featured a host of
Oklahoma celebrities and was held on Statehood Day, Nov. 16, at the
Ford Center in downtown Oklahoma City. The broadcast was viewed by
30 percent of Oklahoma households.
