The Best of 2003 Savoring another bite of the year gone by

Actually, with just about every bite and every food package that
came my way (and there were an awful lot), trends become apparent.
Everything old is new again. Such is the case with fondue, which
has found new fans. One bite of the rich GoGo bread and you'll
understand why. Ingredients that sound as if they're from Granny's
pantry are back in style, such as the lemon curd that flavors our
favorite spring tart.
Ethnic flavors continue to make strong headway onto mainstream
menus....
