Assembly man had doubts about security
|
A Welsh Assembly member who travelled with Benazir Bhutto on her
return to Pakistan in October, said yesterday he had misgivings
about her security arrangements when they met.
Plaid Cymru member Mohammad Asghar was invited to accompany Ms
Bhutto and planned to spend a week in Pakistan in October before a
deadly bomb attack directed at the former prime minister curtailed
his trip.
Ms Bhutto was not injured in the blast in Karachi but more than
100 of her supporters were killed.
