Cheez-Its' 'Hunchback' ad looks good, lasts too long

No doubt about it. The worlds of entertainment and advertising are beginning to blur.

For confirmation of that, one need only view the new 60-second "Hunchback" cinema spot from Leo Burnett for Keebler's Cheez-It crackers that will be screened in 560 movie theaters nationwide for four weeks starting Friday. "Hunchback" also will air as a 30- second television spot beginning next Monday.

Burnett obviously designed "Hunchback" as an "event" commercial, as well as a continuation of the "Get Your Own Box" campaign for Cheez-It crackers that debuted last year. The special-effects-laden ...
