If the results of a recent poll of NBA players mean anything, a lockout will be avoided next season. That's the good news.

The bad news is, the margin was a three-pointer at the buzzer.

The Rocky Mountain News asked 151 players, more than one- third of the league, whether they believe the NBA will have a lockout when the collective bargaining agreement expires July 1. Neither yes nor no received a majority.
