Boy Scouts' anti-gay policy holds up County Board deal

For generations, Chicago area Boy Scouts have pitched their tents
and unrolled sleeping bags at Camp Kiwanis in Willow Springs on Cook
County Forest Preserve property.
But some Cook County Board members balked at entering a 25-year
agreement with the Scouts on Wednesday because of the organization's
refusal to allow gays and lesbians to serve as Scout leaders.
