Cowboys and cowgirls who wear tight-fitting jeans don't put on the feed bag for every meal at the National Western Stock Show.

Not if they want to keep their slim flanks.

One of the West's great celebrations of agriculture, the stock show contradicts its back-to-the-land heritage. Instead of balanced, hometown meals, the stock show offers a bazaar of junk food, with supersize helpings.
